Invicta Watches For Men and Women or is it Hip to Be Anachronistic

Back in September of 2009, I embarked upon a journey that has taken me through a world of acronyms and catch phrases, all in the hopes of becoming an internet entrepreneur. Little did I realize how much time and work was involved. On the way, I discovered things about myself and even a few things about my products.

The first thing I discovered was that I liked watches a lot. I think it was my wife who turned me on to this by purchasing me a Bulova watch for our tenth wedding anniversary. It was then that I knew what I wanted to sell. Another line of watches I chose to sell in addition to Bulova watches was Invicta. There was something about their look that really got to me. Who else would would call their watches Russian divers, Akulas and Lefty Chronographs? I was entranced by the many styles available and vowed that I too, would one day have my own Russian Diver watch. Those watches struck me as very anachronistic. It was easy to picture that Lefty chronograph on the wrist of a 1930′s aviator. No, not a pilot, but an aviator.

Unless you happen to be in thick with a gaggle of Stalinist-era holdovers, you will have a tough time finding a watch that has CCCP boldly emblazoned across it along with a picture of an old-fashioned diving helmet. That, heaven help us, is the Russian Diver which comes in many possible permutations. I am not entirely clear as to Invicta’s fascination with all things Russian, but they make a very cool watch, and yes, Invicta is an American company. Even the Akula, another Invicta model, is the Russian word for shark.

To this end, I hope you can make the time to stop by and visit our site. I hope this article edified you and maybe even brought a smile to your face. Thank-you for stopping by!
